I’m in a very good mood today so I think I will be posting blogs throughout the remainder of day! YAY!
Okay, so I got about 2 ½ hours of sleep last night or in more technical terms this morning…LOL! BTW, that’s not healthy, please do not try that at home…LOL! Anyway, I opted not to work out because of the lack of sleep, there’s no way my body would have wanted to endure a workout when it’s already needing sleep (ZZZZzzzzzz…reason #1 why you need sleep, to have energy to workout!). Instead, I decided to go to the grocery store to get the kiddies snacks for school and breakfast stuff (for those of you that didn’t know, I have two kids. But if you didn’t know, that means you don’t know me personally OR HAVE NOT READ MY BLOG AT (http://shawntafuturecpt.blogspot.com). I woke up late this morning and of course was running behind (yes, it was because of the lack of sleep), I didn’t get an opportunity to pack a nutritious lunch reason #2 why you need to get a good night rest, so you can wake up in time to pack a healthy lunch!
On my way back to work I saw a Burger King (FAST FOOD! YUCK!). I like certain fast foods, but I try to stay away from them through the week. I decided to order the Spicy Chick N’ Crisp sandwich, BTW, it was very tasty . The reason I choose that is because #1 it’s chicken and #2 it’s spicy. Chicken has protein and protein helps build muscle mass and spicy stuff speeds up your metabolism which means you burn calories. I don’t remember exactly what came on the sandwich, but I only wanted lettuce and very little mayo and it came on a sesame seed bun. I decided that I would only eat the bottom half of the bun and I took off any extra bread at the bottom that didn’t have meat covering it. I figured this would be a way to make the sandwich have less calories, carbs, fats, and sugars. Either way it wasn’t the healthiest sandwich I could have eaten, but I had to improvise.
