I must say (not trying to brag or anything), I had an AWESOME workout! I started out with weights today. I noticed my co-worker who works out at the same time as I, always do weights first, well today I asked her why and she told me, but I have to do more research on that because she couldn't explain exactly ( so expect more info on that in one of my future, but soon posts).
But anyway, back to my workout...I worked my legs by going lunges while holding 20lb dumbbells in each hand, I used of one the machines in the gym which works the hamstring and other muscle(s) my weight was between 70-80lbs, and I did an exercise using the the stability ball (you lay on your stomach on the ball, hands are on the floor in a push-up position and you raise the each leg 10-15 times. I did three reps of each leg exercise.
By the time I finished weight I was pouring sweat…good thing though heart rate was up and I’m burning fat and calories! :D
I did throw in a little upper body but nothing major, I worked on my shoulders, triceps, and biceps using 10, 15, and 20lbs dumbbells. Today was a lower body day so that is why I focused more on the legs (I usually alternate, upper body one day, lower body next). I finished with 25 minutes on the treadmill max speed was 4.5 (didn’t feel like jogging today, brisk walk only…plus Days of Our Lives and the Bonnie Hunt show was on…never thought I would get addicted to a Soap and a daytime TV talk show)….LOL!
