Long story short, I left my awful job and crazy a$$ manager after 1 year and 9 months. Yay me and thank you Jesus! My new job is at a company that I tried to get into a couple times since my lay off in June 2012. It's in a building similar to the one I use to work in AND THEY ARE BUILDING A FITNESS CENTER! I'm super stoked and will be spending my lunch hour there EVERYDAY, just like old times. I will now have something to update on my blog...MY PROGRESS and health related stuff. I've been in this whole fitness slump because of my back issues (which I will always have) and no fitness center :-(
In my LMFAO "Shots" tune....

This scale has been a lifesaver, as well as my BFF! I don't know how I survived before. Believe me when I say you can definitely under estimate how much food you're consuming, when you're not weighing your food. In addition to the scale I use measuring cups and spoons which helps with an add on like sugar...yes, I prefer REAL sugar (I just can't get into the sugar substitute thing unless it's my fav Crystal Light). I don't use my scale as much as I use to, but it still gets plenty of usage. If you're really serious about portion control and/or looking to lose those few extra pounds you can't seem to drop, invest in a food scale...you won't regret it!

What I didn't mention was...drum roll please...I've NEVER taken a Zumba class!!! (Silence...birds chirping). Surprised huh? well I'm very sporadic like that! I love fitness and the Zumba concept will go great with my personal training business.

Since September I've been a little disappointed because I found it hard, I've come to the realization that it should be hard for someone that's never taken a class before. It's like getting into a car for the first time, riding a bike for the first time, or roller skating for the first time. Practice makes perfect.

October was awesome because the Zumba home office announced a mentoring program for newbies or instructors that have never taught a class before. It took a few months to gets things together on their end and it was well worth the wait. I have a great mentor who has really help me to start a patch to launching my Zumba business. I'm super excited and can't wait.

I will keep you all updated on my progress. Btw...I didn't realize that Zumba could make your body sore. Yep...I'm achy today, but that's good because my muscles are getting stronger!!! I can't wait to gain the muscle mass I had before I had to stop working out (that's another story for another time).

Please excuse any typos or lines that don't make sense...I'm typing on my iPhone and I'm at work trying not to get caught...lol.

Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-29175678664423106992013-12-10T10:13:00.001-06:002013-12-10T10:13:04.566-06:00It's Been a WhileI've been so preconsumed with random stuff that I've totally neglected blogging-which I dearly miss.

I got a little irritated and since everyone is working I need to vent and thought about my dear old friend blogger. I'm still on my healthy kick, I will always promote health before pleasure. I'd rather be healthy than to be over weight and suffer a heart attack because I chose to clog my arteries.

Why I'm irritated? A co-worker says to another co-worker that she has the buttery popcorn that they like to eat. One of them don't care for my 100 calorie snack size packs (which has butter by the way) because they're too healthy!!! Huh?!?! So she responded with, there's no need to eat popcorn if it doesn't have butter and the other agreed.

Uhhhh....wow this is coming from 2 over weight individuals, one elderly and the other with diabetes. I don't talk about people and their weight, I was once slightly over weight. But how do you speak negative about someone doing something positive. It may have been a joke, but I don't take jokes lightly when it comes to health.

My goal is to transform minds, lives, and bodies through a weight loss/healthy eating life style change. I'm sorry, but why leave your family prematurely because you made bad decisions on your diet!!!

That is all! You have simple carbs, complex carbs, and fiber. Yes fiber is considered a carb, but it does not act like simple and complex carbs. Anyway, on to why carbs are my friend.

I've done a lot of research over the years about differnt things when it comes to weight loss, fitness, and so on. I had completely forgot some of the positives about carbs...carbs help keep you full fiber does too...now you see the connect? lol

I usually eat three meals and three small snacks a day, but before snack time I was hungry, sometimes super hungry. One morning I was very hungry and decided that my pack of plain instant oatmeal or a bagel thin wouldnt do the job...so I had both. I did the same thing the next day, and the day aftert that. I noticed that I didn't have an am snack neither of the days. Hmmm...no hunger? how could this be? Simple answer...carbs. My two hundred and thirty-five calorie breakfast kept me full for hours.

I'm not saying to eat more carbs and skip out on a snack, but this held me over until snack time and I didn't want to eat more than my normal snack portion!!!

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">It's been a while since I blogged. Not sure if I mentioned that I'm working again. I was laid off for 28 days and found another job. In a way I wish I would have been off a little longer so I could complete some projects and be more available for the kids going back to school. But oh well, I thank God that I have a job so I will have to resume to my pre-layoff schedule.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">My hours are basically the same but my weight isn't....lol. I'm 155lbs. June 2012 I toppled the scale at 177lbs (o_0). I still pretty much eat what I want...but within reason. Hmmm...well maybe I don't...lol. But I don't restrict myself as if I'm on some cardboard diet. I'm an advocate for label reading so I catch myself saying how horrible a food is or how it's a waste of calories, carbs, and so on. I still use the My Fitness Pal application for Android and Apple on my cell and iPod.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Oh and the newest thing, well not so new for me, but I don't think that I've mentioned that I'm going natural...no more chemical / relaxed hair for me. I did my BC this month (September 2012). For those of you that don't know, BC is big chop. Meaning I cut my hair down to the natural hair. I was transitioning for almost a year, it was time. I have maybe 5 inches of hair at the most if it were straightened. I can't wait for my natural hair to be the length it was prior to my transition.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">What does natural hair mean for me when working out...well I will answer that question in the far future, I've been wearing braids or twist so I have no idea yet! LOL! Until next time...

The things I swear by and have assisted me with my weight loss:

1) Exercise (although I haven't done as much as I thought I would do)
2) Vitamins & Supplements (can't say they contributed to the loss, but they do contain nutrients that the body need)
3) Water, water, and more water
4) Portion Control
5) My Fitness Pal app for Android & Apple
6) Biggest Loser Food Scale
7) Measuring cups & spoons
8) A Scale to weigh myself
9) Being a lable reader!
10) Walking/Running Shoes (makes it a lot easier when hitting the pavement)

Hmmmm....I think that's about it! Losing weight definitly takes you being organized. You have to be in the mindset to do so and prepared to make the commitment. I literally measure ALL food I put into my mouth whether healthy or not as healthy.

Until next time...be happy and eat healthy!

Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-35129105649005968302012-07-14T10:00:00.001-05:002012-07-15T08:32:47.761-05:00My Treat Day

On Friday (6/13) my daughter and I hung out and we literally ate whatever we wanted. I have a 1500 calorie per day limit and I went over by 185 calories (I had an extremely late but very light dinner, had I eaten a typical dinner I would have went over by more).

The bulk of my calories came from snacks! I had a kids scoop of vanilla ice cream with a brownie and pecans from Coldstones and half of a Cinnabon with a cup of 2% milk (yummy). Of course I went over my sugars (I always do, but not due to sweets). The good thing is I rarely go over any of my numbers so I guess you can say I have a reserve from what ever I don't use during the remainder of the week (although I don't look at it like that). I try not to worry so much about what I eat, but how much.

I will admit, I did get burn quite a few calories from walking so much so my net calories consumed for the day was 775. But even without the exercise I still feel that my caloric intake for the day wasn't bad!

Portion control is definitely the key! So next time you decide to splurge a little and treat yourself to a tasty snack remember PORTION CONTROL. Save some for tomorrow or share, until next time...be happy and eat healthy!

Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-31176375380635654212012-06-24T20:11:00.001-05:002012-06-24T20:20:36.543-05:00Portion Control

I feel that I can eat whatever I want...well with reason...lol. It's all about portion control and a little will power too perhaps.

I just looked at my meals for yesterday and noticed I had cotton candy! Yep, a sweet made completely out of sugar and artifical colors. Charm's Fluffy Stuff makes small bags that are 110 calories for the bag. I ate half yesterday; so that was half the calories, sugar, and carbs.

I divide things in halfs or fourths (it's easier to measure...lol, I suck @ fractions!) and that will be my portion for the day. Not so long ago I had a double chocolate and white chips cookie from Panera Bread...a whopping 450 cals for the entire cookie. I gave half to my daughter, took my half, broke it in half and ate it over two days. I love chocolate and was able to satisfy my love for chocolate and not feel as if I just over did it.

So the next time you want a dessert, eat a small portion. Now I don't suggest this for people that don't have the will power to do so. I've been practicing portion control since 2008 so its not something that you will adapt to over night.

What I do suggest for individuals that will eat the entire whatever, share it with someone...that way you can't get it back. For the record that's not why I shared the cookie, I knew eating a fourth piece of cookie a day would take 4 days and become hard or stale. Plus I wouldn't eat something like that 4 days in a row...even if I am breaking it into fourths.

So yes, you can still satisfy that sweet tooth or chocolate crave by using portion control. And as always, if you have a medical condition such as type 2 Diabetes and shouldn't consume a lot of sugar then my suggestion would not apply to you, please seek the advice of your physician.

Until next time...be happy and eat healthy :-)

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Since 2008 I've been reading food labels, counting calories, carbs, etc... I never had a real way to track them other than my Excel spreadsheet. Since using the MyFitnessPal app I have a different outlook on the numbers!!!

I started to rapidly gain weight after deciding to get an IUD in Feb. 2011 and boy...did the pound pack on in a matter of a few months. My diet nor did anything else change so I knew it wasn't me. I've ALWAYS been able to maintain my weight, working out or not. About 2 weeks ago I toppled the scale at 177lbs! AHHHHH! Oh heck no! All of my hard work was not about to go down the drain. Nor was I about to pack on more pounds. I've always wondered how people could watch themselves gain weight and not do anything about it. Mine happened so fast I didn't realize right away. BTW, before I got my IUD I was between 149-152lbs.

First off, I started REALLY looking at the foods I ate to make sure I was good in that department. For the most part I was (I only made a few adjustments). Next, I started back working out (I slowed down a whole lot because my spine is curving the wrong direction which causes the most awful pains at times). I don't work out as much as I would like because I want to take it slow and make sure I don't cause any additional pain.

Now two weeks later I'm down to 170.5 lbs....the 160's are VERY NEAR and I'm VERY HAPPY!!! I'm on a 1,500 calorie diet. Between working out and my food choices, most days it averages to less than 1,500 calories.

MyFitnessPal has all of my numbers available for me, I'm able to see how close I am to meeting my goals and if I'm in danger of going over. I did this for myself on Excel, but of course this would cause me to have to log into my computer EVERYTIME. The more convenient it is for you to log your numbers, the more likely you are to pay attention to them...Do you agree? At first I was afraid that I would forget to log in my foods but I think that takes a little self motivation and eventually it will become part of your daily routine!

Until next time....Happy and Healthy Eating! :-)
Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-75812032020871542562012-06-22T15:53:00.000-05:002012-06-22T15:53:01.214-05:00More Time for Fitness!

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Long story short, I was laid off from my job on Monday. I've been wanting to leave (would have preferred to do it with pay and give a 2 weeks notice). Anyway...this gives me more time to do some of the stuff I said I couldn't do because I had an 8 to 5, Mon thru Fri. I still have my p/t job (doing liquor promotions). I thought I would be in a panic by now. I do have rent among other bills. But I feel as if God has something great in store for me and my faith has not allowed me to panic yet. I know my old job wasn't a good fit for me and there are other things that I want to dibble and dabble in and now I have that extra push to do so. I still want to become a Certified Personal Trainer and now I have nothing but time to study (between looking for a job). I always wanted to have an early morning workout...and now I can. So I will use this free time while it lasts and make the best of it.
Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-10504641501503536912012-06-19T11:20:00.001-05:002012-06-22T15:50:41.420-05:00Weight Loss Tracking App

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Okay, so I know I said that I would report back in a week but I'm so taken away by the MyFitnessPal app (for Android and Apple) that I didn't want to wait the 2 days...lol

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I LOVE this app! Now don't get me wrong, WWDiary is nice too, but I prefer the convenience of not having to add foods to the database. In addition, I can view my calorie, fats, sodium, potassium, carb, vitamins A & C, and calcium counts for the day. WWDiary didn't have many of my foods in their database and I would have to manually enter them after scanning the barcode. I've found EVERY food thus far on MyFitnessPal; even the ones I didn't think would be there.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I am truly a visual person when it comes to fitness. Seeing my numbers helps me track my progress. So if you're looking for a good inexpensive Weight Watches app, WWDiary is the way to go! But if you're like me and love to track everything, then I highly recommend MyFitnessPal (for Android and Apple)! <span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Oh, FYI...if you don't have a smartphone, MyFitnessPal can also be found at www.myfitnesspal.com.

Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-91536154691671978232012-06-14T14:20:00.002-05:002012-06-14T14:20:12.765-05:00My Fitness Pal Android App

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">My previous post, right before this one, I talked about Weight Watchers (WW). Well the friend who told me about the WWDairy app (which is "like" Weight Watchers) told me about the My Fitness Pal Android app which will allow you to also scan the bar code (like WWDiary) but will allow you to calculate calories as well (YAY!). I asked her was she ever hungry while on the official Weight Watchers program and she stated that she don't remember being hungry that much because you can snack on fruits and veggies that are 0 points. This is great because a lot of people don't get the recommended amount of either. A co-worker of mine said that she tried the new WW point system and gained weight unless she was doing it wrong. So she prefers the old point system.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">My friend tols me that she logs info into both My Fitness Pal and WWDiary and that Weight Watchers is around 1,000-1,200 calories a day. With the way that I work out...Weight Watchers would not work for me even though I would get to eat the fruits and veggies. My workout routine deals with a lot of cardio 5 x's a week and strengthening (in addition to the cardio) 3-4 times a week. I would definitely need to fuel my body with more calories or I would look anorexic (no offense) or drop too many pounds too fast!

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I'm going to do as my friend and log my info into both apps to see what the results are. I will try both for a week and report back my personal findings.

**Update from when I started this post...like 3 hrs ago and haven't finished yet...I'm at work...lol...shhhh....**

Okay, so I modified the setting of the WWDiary app and it will allow you to put in calories but I still don't see where I can see a total amount of calories eaten. So far My Fitness Pal is still winning me over.
Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-43489052206570080672012-06-14T09:58:00.002-05:002012-06-14T09:58:17.555-05:00"Weight Watchers" - New Point System

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Okay, so first off I will explain the quotes ( " " ) around Weight Watchers. I've never tried the official Weight Watchers program, but a friend of mine has. In addition, I've heard about it from a ton of people so I know how it works. My friend told me that she downloaded an app called WWDiary (for Android) and it's just like Weight Watchers. The app is free but you pay a $1.00/mo if you want to use the "full" scanning your food's bar code feature.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I've never been a Weight Watchers fan nor have I ever felt the need to have the assistance of a weight loss program. However, I do like to keep track of my calorie, fat, sugar, etc... intake. The app is great for those who need a Weight Watchers type program without having to pay the Weight Watchers money.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I downloaded the app this past weekend but didn't use it until 6/12/12 and I did on 6/13/12 as well. Today is 6/14/2012 and I will NOT be using it. I stayed hungry both days!!! I NEVER stay hungry. I don't buy that eat the right things at the right time. I know what to eat and when I should eat it, people ask me for advice. I want to be a personal trainer so it is my duty to know this stuff.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I do know that the version I tried was the new point system, not the old point system. However, I say screw the points for me. For me It's called eat healthy, exercise, and be happy. I do know that I can eat fruit and veggies when I get hungry, but I'm not use to being THAT HUNGRY!!! I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks per day and my protein drink once per day.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I'm not downing Weight Watchers but I don't think it's for me. Ending on this note...if you love Weight Watchers and can't afford it, definitely download the WWDiary app (on Android).
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Ok, I'm sure if you've viewed my blog before or personally know me...you know that I'm a black female. I don't have a great texture of hair nor is it the worse...it's doable. A lot of black females (and maybe males too depending on their hair style) hate sweating out their hair or getting it wet (e.g. while working out, swimming, getting caught in the rain, or even sweating on a hot humid summer day).

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">A friend of mine told me about Nicole Ari Parker's, Save Your Do Gym Wrap. In simple terms it's like a sweat band except it has two ends you have to tie together like a head scarf but it's not like the basic sweat bands you would see a sports playing wearing. Long story short, she designed it so the hair wouldn't get wet and your edges would be protected. Keep in mind the only part of the hair that stays dry are the sections where the wrap is laying on your hair.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I purchased mine a while back and used it for the first time yesterday and today too of course. I have braids for now but my edges are DRY! The section where the wrap wasn't I can feel moisture. I can't wait to see how well it does when I'm wearing only my hair. But for now I'm happy with the results. All I have to say is...Nicole Ari Parker has made it so much easier to work out now! Thank you Nicole! :-)
It's like I never stopped. I saw that I was running out of time and wouldn't be able to get in weights so I decide to do a couple of bicep workouts while I was on the Elliptical. It probably sounds crazy although it was a little awkward but it worked. I'm not even sure if this is SAFE to do, so I will have to research this and get back to you all.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">My only concern was the range of motion verses the amount of space that was in front of me while doing curls. Curling to the side was easier but due to the motion of the Elliptical I had to make sure my arm stayed aligned. So if you do decide to do this research it first...I didn't, but I don't want anyone doing anything I blogged about and hurting themselves.Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-75854589071479638082012-06-07T15:01:00.001-05:002012-06-07T15:01:00.887-05:00Starting Over<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Today was the first time I've worked out in a looooonnnngggg time! Surprised? I use to workout a minimum of 5 days a week but slowed down a little because I was losing more weight than I wanted to. Eventuall I started having a lot of back/neck/knee issues which pretty much stopped all physical activity because of the pain.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I got my knees checkout out and the doc said no big deal, physical therapy (P.T.) would strengthen them and I would be all better. One problem @ $45.00 per appointment I would be out of a lot of money...my solution...Google knee strengthening exercises!!! Back and neck issues are due to a pinched nerve because my spine is curving the wrong way...more P.T....my solution...take it easy! Which also resulted in no exercise.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I'm tired of NOT exercising so today I said screw this, I will see what happens so I went FULL FORCE on the Elliptical for 30 minutes and I feel great. I will see how I am throughout the remainder of the day and when I wake up in the morning. I'm also tired of paying for a gym membership that I'm not utilizing. That will also end this WEEK! I'm going to the gym even if it's pool time only.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I think that my body is use to exercising more so than not exercising because I wasn't exhausted nor did I feel like it's been forever since I've done cardio. HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY! I'm sure I will be extra sleepy from the vigorous cardio workout so I hope to sleep like a baby tonight!

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Until next time...be happy, eat healthyShawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-60641370915859561972012-05-24T12:39:00.003-05:002012-05-24T12:39:52.874-05:00My First Veggie Dog!

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I don't know if I've ever mentioned that I do not eat pork. It's not due to religious purposes or anything, it's just because. It was something I tried back in 1995 I believe. WOW! 17 years, didn't realize that it has been that long.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Today at work we have a whole day of events and lunch was provided; hot dogs, chips, and cookies. Well I knew I wouldn't eat the pork and I wasn't sure about the veggie...but it was very good. The texture was a little softer and with condiments you would never know the difference.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I wish I could have taken a pic but it's hard when you're standing in a long line and 300+ employees (provided that everyone will eat what the company provided) need to get lunch. When I got back to my desk I did my usual and researched what the ingredients were and the main things I saw was protein something and soy...maybe it was soy protein...lol.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">All-in-all, I am happy with my veggie dog. I will say it's something you have to try and be opened minded about so if you have that one track mind you will probably NEVER give a veggie dog a try, but for all the others who would, try it just once and let me know what you think!

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Until next time....
Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-20380913852064391692012-05-17T11:37:00.001-05:002012-05-17T11:37:56.141-05:00Family Chef Insulated Food Jar

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I just recently received an insulated food jar (it comes with a spoon) and it's the neatest little thing. I like to have a small snack in between meals or just have something to pop in my mouth every now and then. Other than the unhealthy evil vending machine we have here, the only other thing I can get is a banana from the coffee bar and I really don't care for bananas so that's not really an option.

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Yesterday I took a cucumber and green bell pepper from home and sliced some up and put it in my insulated jar. I kept it on my desk all day and the veggies were still good by the end of the day. Of course not as cold, but they kept well. I'm very pleased with this container. So pleased I went and picked up two more. I would prefer to keep one at work and the others to transport my lunch in. I purchased it from Family Dollar for $1.50. I think it's an awesome deal, it may not be the best insulated jar out there, but it seems to do the job! You can even carry cereal and milk in these, in separate containers of course (unless you like soggy cereal...yuck).

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I recommend using these to carry your lunch or a healthy snack. It's small and you can keep it on your desk or even by your bed side for a healthy snack :-)
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Wow! I just realized that it's been 4 months since I blogged. I use to try to blog everyday, then everyday turned into a couple of times of weeks, now that has turned into whenever I have time. <span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Sometimes life takes us in so many different directions. Between trying to get things together to start my Masters Program, a second job which happens to take up my free time on the weekend, starting up a couple of business ventures, having my hard drive crash on me, (I have been semi-computerless for a while, but God has blessed me with another one!!!) and other random things I've been taken in many directions. I'm not going to promise a post everyday or a few times a week, but I will try to post as much fitness and nutrition info as often as life will allow me.

I actually have information that I've researched and collected over the past few months that I have to organize and post. That I will try to get out to you over the next week or less. Until then...be happy, live healthy! :)
Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604217878862249634.post-48044927556096905502012-01-06T16:16:00.000-06:002012-01-06T16:16:57.146-06:00New Favorite Snack - Special K Cracker Chips
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I'm going to keep this short but informative.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">There's 3 flavors, Sea Salt, Sour Cream and Onion and my favorite, Cheddar. The nutrition value is good (110 calories per serving for 27 chips, 3g of fat, 22g carbs, 3g fiber and 2g protein--this is for the Cheddar flavor) I think this makes a great snack so check them out. I got them from Walmart but Jewel and Target carries them as well (I'm sure other stores stock them but those are the stores I know for a fact). I don't remember the exact price but I know it's not over $3.00 a box.
Shawnta'http://www.blogger.com/profile/13978171093968021168noreply@blogger.com0
